As I make the transition from being a chef to entering the world of tech, I have been amazed by the supportive community that I have found. From friends and family to colleagues and mentors, the people around me have been instrumental in my success so far. (And trust me, I've had some pretty epic fails along the way!)

When I first started my journey, I was unsure of how I would be received in the tech industry. I had no formal training or education in coding or software development, and I was worried that people would see me as an outsider. However, I quickly realized that the tech community is incredibly inclusive and supportive. People here are genuinely interested in helping others succeed, and they are always willing to lend a hand or offer advice.

My friends and family have been incredibly supportive of my decision to change careers. They have encouraged me, listened to my struggles, and celebrated my successes. I am grateful for their love and support, and I know that I couldn't have made it this far without them. (And they've also been great at putting up with my constant talk about algorithms and API's - bless them!)

In addition to my friends and family, I have also found a supportive community of colleagues and mentors in the tech industry. I have been fortunate to work with some incredibly talented and experienced people who have been willing to share their knowledge and expertise with me. They have answered my questions, provided guidance, and helped me to learn and grow. (And they've also taught me some valuable life lessons, like how to avoid infinite loops and how to properly use a semicolon.)

One of the most valuable things that I have learned from my mentors is the importance of networking and building relationships. In the tech industry, networking is crucial to finding job opportunities, learning new skills, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies. By building a network of supportive and knowledgeable people, I have been able to accelerate my learning and gain valuable experience. (And I've also made some great friends along the way!)

In addition to my mentors and colleagues, I have also found support in the form of educational institutions and organizations. I am currently studying at Manchester Codes and Coders University, where I have met other aspiring tech professionals and learned from experts in the field. This institution has provided me with valuable resources and opportunities to learn and grow, and I am grateful for their support.

Overall, I am grateful for the supportive community that I have found during my transition from chef to tech. The people around me have helped me to stay motivated, learn new skills, and succeed in my new career. As I continue to learn and grow, I am excited to see what the future holds and to continue to be a part of this amazing community.

I am also looking forward to sharing my journey with others who are considering making a similar transition. If you're thinking of making a change and entering the tech industry, I encourage you to take the leap. The rewards can be great, and the support is out there. You just have to reach out and grab it.

As for me, I am excited to see where my journey takes me next. Who knows, maybe one day I'll even be able to write a blog post about the challenges and triumphs of being a full-time developer! Until then, I'll just keep coding and learning, and enjoying every step along the way.

Thanks for reading, and happy coding
